PC MOT

The PC MOT is our most popular service and is a full health check for your computer.

Your disk drive can become full of spyware, viruses, and temporary internet files. Its not long before your PC starts to slow down and lose performance. As part of the PC MOT we will:-

  • Perform Anti-Virus/Spyware scan & delete threats
  • Download & install critical windows updates
  • Perform a hard drive clean-up
  • Install driver updates for hardware devices
  • Check firewall status/settings
  • Check internet settings
  • Test hardware
  • Clean the inside of PC base unit
  • Ensure all inside components and cables are secure

Our PC MOT is a set charge of £30 remember if you can deliver your pc to us this will only cost £25 with the £5 discount.

 

Data recovery:

We will examine the machine to see if we can recover your files, with our software we currently have a 99% success rate in recovering files, photo's and video's that have been deleted by accident or by a virus.

For this service we recomend that you bring your pc to us, as the recovery software does often take many hours to complete and our hourly rate would apply if we came to you, we can offer a collect and return for £10 for this service.

we charge:

£25 to recover upto 10 files (not folders)

£35 to recover upto 40 files and 3 folders

we recomend that you try not to use your computer if you have deleted your files as this reduces the chances of recovery.

Home network set-up:

If you are struggling with your broadband or home network, why not avoid the stress and have us set-up the system for you? Most set-ups will take around one hour (make sure you have the user name and password supplied by your service provider), but if we are unable to complete the process for any reason we will return to complete the job at our cost! £30.00 fixed charge.
